My love of roses has resurfaced! This time in a sugary incarnation!
I made this for my friend Elizabeth's birthday earlier this month. I think the vines and the leaves look really shitty, probably 'cause I thinned the frosting (like the book told me) and they came out...bleggghhh. But I'm pretty happy with the roses. And the fondant. I found a great recipe that makes some pretty good tasting fondant (not like the traditional stuff that just looks pretty but tastes like wall paper paste!)
